Nó chỉ nên được sử dụng khi aria-roledescription có mặt và trong trường hợp hiếm gặp khi nó quá dài cho chữ nổi.
Thuộc tính aria-brailleroledescription chứa thông tin bổ sung về thời điểm nên đặt thuộc tính này.
